It all started with a small backlight, born from the conviction of two engineers that lighting for industrial image processing must be so inexpensive and at the same time of such high quality that it is not necessary for anyone to develop their own lighting.
This first backlight from MBJ Imaging was the first MBJ lighting to be used in a customer application in 2014.
Even 10 years later, MBJ Imaging still develops, manufactures and distributes innovative LED lighting and LED controllers for machine vision entirely from Germany. This means that everything remains in one hand and short in-house paths ensure maximum flexibility and speed.
Where two engineers founded the company back then, today an entire - and constantly growing - team stands behind the products and looks proudly at what has been achieved so far and joyfully anticipates what is to come.
To celebrate the anniversary in style, we went on a sailing trip in the Kiel Fjord with the entire MBJ crew! With bright sunshine, live music and cool drinks, a delicious barbecue buffet was served directly on board. Together we not only literally set sail on board, but above all for the next 10 years of MBJ Imaging.
The team behind MBJ consists of experts with many years of experience in the industry and a high level of technological expertise. The business consists not only of the manufacture of standard products such as ring or bar lighting, but above all of customer-specific special developments. No matter how challenging the testing task may be, the MBJ team has always found a solution and is passionate about new developments.
In its anniversary year, MBJ Imaging will once again be represented at VISION in Stuttgart with a large exhibition stand. You can look forward to new products such as a high intensity lighting solution for traffic, a spot with active cooling, the new UV series as well as the proven standard products live and in color to touch and try out. The team on site is also looking forward to exciting discussions on new inspection requirements and solutions.
